The famous actor, director, public figure Nikolai Burlyaev recently celebrated a beautiful 75th anniversary. And he’s still full of strength and energy: he makes films, writes scripts, conducts master classes. He has been heading the “Zolotoy Vityaz” -- a festival of Slavic and Orthodox cinema for 30 years and he calls it the main project of his life. Nikolai Burlyaev is an old and great friend of Belarus. He has been to Minsk more than once, including at the “Listapad” Film Festival.

At the invitation of the Directorate, the People's Artist of Russia will come to Minsk again for the opening ceremony of the XXVII Minsk International Film Festival, which will be held on November 20 at the “Moskva” cinema. It will also be possible to see and listen to the legend of cinema a day later at the “Belarusfilm” national studio, where a creative meeting with Nikolai Burlyaev will take place. It is planned that the artist will also take part in a round table discussion of topical issues of cinematography.
