Main Fiction Films Competition
Dmitry Astrakhan (Russia)
Theatre and film director, screenwriter, producer, broadcaster,
film actor, Honored Art Worker of the Russian Federation.
Graduated from the Leningrad State Institute of Theatre,
Music and Cinematography in 1982. From 1981-1987 he was
a director of the Sverdlovsk Theatre of Young Spectators,
from 1987 to 1990 he staged productions at the Bolshoi
Theatre, the Leningrad Theatre of Young Spectators, the V.F.
Komissarzhevskaya Theatre in Leningrad, and the Omsk
Theatre of Young Spectators. From 1991–1995 he was Artistic
Director of the St. Petersburg Comedy Theatre. From 1991 to
1995 he was Artistic Director of St. Petersburg Akimov Theatre
of Comedy. From 1991–1995 he was artistic director of the
St. Petersburg Akimov Theatre of Comedy. Since 1993 he has
directed the actor’s workshop at the LGITMiK. He teaches at the
Ostankino Higher School of Television. Since 2022 he has been
Artistic Director of the Theatre «The School of Modern Drama».
Wang Xiaomen (China)
Founder and director of Emi International LLC, Chairman of
the Association of Chinese Compatriots «Huatiao», member
of the Committee on Chinese Emigrants of the National
People’s Congress of China, founder of Yus Invest LLC. She
graduated from Belarusian State University and Moscow State
Linguistic University. In 2017, she founded EMY International,
which is a representative of the Chinese Association of
Cinematographers in Belarus, deals with intercultural
exchange projects, including cinematography, and is the main
representative of the National Film Studio Belarusfilm in China.
With the assistance of Wang Xiaomeng, Chinese Film Days in
Minsk (2018 and 2021) and the Chinese Film Festival in Greece
(2019) were organized.
Telman Guzhevsky (Israel)
Internationally acclaimed opera tenor
and actor, pupil of one of the greatest
tenors of the 20th century - Maestro
Carlo Bergonzi, completed Postgraduate
Diploma studies on scholarships from
Trinity College of Music and Guildhall
School of Music and Drama in London,
UK. The soundtrack with his voice by
Dario Marianelli in the recent film Anna
Karenina by Joe Wright was nominated
for Oscar Award.
Aleksey Ryazantsev (Russia)
CEO of Karo Premier Film Company, PhD,
Associate Professor at the Department
of Production and Economics at VGIK,
member of the National Academy of
Cinematographic Arts and Sciences of
Russia. By training as a sound engineer
(Leningrad Institute of Film Engineers)
and an economist of cinema and TV (AllUnion State Institute of Cinematography).
Since 1995, as Deputy General Director of
NTV-PROFIT. He has been involved in film
production since 2008.
Ludmila Saenkova-Melnitskaya (Belarus)
Film critic, candidate of sciences in
philology, associate professor. Graduated
from the department of journalism
of Belarusian State University, the
department of film studies of the AllUnion State Institute of Cinematography.
Studied at Massachusetts Institute of
Technology and Harvard University.
In 1998 was appointed head of the
department of literary and art criticism
of the faculty. Member of the Belarusian
Union of Cinematographers since 1991.
Author of numerous publications, books
on cinema.

Igor Byshnew (Belarus)
Born on January 7, 1964 in the Belarusian
village of Kholomery.
D. in Biology, documentalist, ornithologist,
director, scriptwriter, cameraman (over
70 films).
Jovan Markovic (Serbia)
Jovan Markovic is a screenwriter and
producer from Serbia.He is the founder,
co-owner and director of Film and Ton. As
a scriptwriter and producer, he has made
more than 30 feature films and over 100
documentaries and short films. He has
won many awards at home and abroad.
Since 1999 he has been the co-founder and
vice-president of the great international
film festival Zolotoy Vityaz and the Slavic
Cultural Forum. He is a member of the
Serbian Academy of Motion Picture Arts
and Sciences and holds the honorary title of
Honored Artist.
Mikhail Trofimenkov (Russia)
Graduated from the department of art
history of the Leningrad State University
and completed his postgraduate studies
at the LGITMiK. Candidate of Art History.
Co-director (with Inna Tkachenko) of the
international programmes of the Sochi
IFF and «Faces of Love ‘’ IFF. Taught at the
University of Metz (France, 1997–1998).
He has been a cultural correspondent
at Kommersant publishing house since
2000. He is the only expert on the political
history of cinema in Russia, and one
of the few in the world. Winner of the
Russian Government Media Award (2019).
Animation Films Competition
Denis Chernov (Russia)
Russian animator, scriptwriter and
voice actor. He is the Laureate of the
International and Republican film
festivals. His main cartoon project is
KIKORIKI (Smeshariki) (2004-2012).
While KIKORIKI (2004-2012) is the largest
Russian media project for kids, it is also
one of the most successful projects in
Russian animation history.
Igor Volchek (Belarus)
Animation director, composer, scriptwriter,
animator. In 1970 graduated from
Belarusian State Conservatory, the piano
class. Has been working at the «National
Film Studio «Belarusfilm» since 1968.
1992–1997 — Associate Professor of the
Department of Cinema and Television,
Head of the Course of Directors-Animators
of the Belarusian State Academy of Arts.
A composer; composed for more than 40
films (documentary, feature and animation).
The honored Art Worker of Belarus. Owner
of the special prize of the President «For the
preservation and development of traditions
of spirituality in cinema».
Mohamed Ghazala (Egypt)
PhD. Animation film director, artist,
teacher of animation, writer. Mohamed
Ghazala is an assistant professor of
animation and the chair of the Cinematic
Arts School of Effat University/ Saudi
Arabia. Besides being the Vice President
of the International Animated Film
Association, ASIFA, and the founder of its
first chapter in Africa and the Arab world,
he served on several international Film &
Animations festivals juries.
Children and Youth Films Competition “Listapadzik”
Vera Aleksandrovna Polyakova-Makei (Belarus)
Theatre and cinema actress, TV presenter
and teacher. Graduated from the
Belarusian Academy of Arts, grant holder
of the Special Fund of the President
of the Republic of Belarus for social
support of gifted pupils and students,
graduated from the Academy of Public
Administration under the President of
the Republic of Belarus. In 2021 got an
academic title of Associate Professor
in the field of arts. Recipient of state
awards: Medal of Francysk Skaryna and
Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus.
Konstantin Yolkin (Russia)
Russian film producer, the founder
and head of Russian World Vision. He
has 20 years of experience in the film
industry. Konstantin has been at the helm
of Russian World Vision since 2010.
Co-owner of the creative association
Arthouse.
To date, Konstantin has co-produced 30
projects, most of them in wide Russian
distribution.
Mahmadsaid Shokhiyon (Tajikistan)
Director of Tojikfilm State Institution. Full
member of the Eurasian Academy of
Television and Radio;
Member of the Union of
Cinematographers of Tajikistan.
Author and producer of more than 25
screenplays and numerous publications
on film, theatre and production;
Author of 4 monographs and more
than 50 research papers on economic
development of TV and radio
broadcasting in Tajikistan.
