The main topic of the discussion was how cinema should be in the new political, spiritual and cultural space – this topic was set in his speech by the director of the National Film Studio “Belarusfilm” Vladimir Karachevsky.

The moderator of the meeting, journalist and director Sergey Katyer, rightly recalled that all post-Soviet cinematography came out of Soviet cinema, and suggested analyzing the changes that have occurred since then.

Nikolai Burlyaev, People's Artist of Russia and organizer of the Golden Knight Forum, stressed: “We must resist the new world order with its depulturation”. And most importantly, Nikolai Petrovich proposed to create a Confederation of Creative Unions of the Union State, which could be joined by representatives of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and other CIS countries.

This idea was supported by the Director General of Cinematography of Uzbekistan Firdavs Abdukhalikov. He also reported important news about the revival of the Tashkent International Film Festival after a long break.
