On November 2, the Minsk cinema "Pobeda" hosted the Day of Indian Cinema as part of the XXX Film Festival "Listapad". The event was attended by the guest of honor - the Ambassador of India to Belarus Alok Ranjan Jha. He noted that participation in the festival "Listapad" is a great honor for India and expressed hope for strengthening cultural ties between the countries. This year, the festival program included four Indian films. This helps Belarusian viewers get acquainted with Indian culture.
Deputy Minister of Culture of Belarus Sergei Sorokach noted that cooperation with Indian filmmakers is gaining momentum. The Ministry of Culture of Belarus is ready to support the creation of a joint film, which opens up new opportunities for cultural exchange. The evening ended with performances of bright Indian dances and a screening of the film "One in the Field is a Warrior", which received the National Film Award of India.
