The most interesting events from the world of cinema, stories from film sets, meetings with famous actors, directors and screenwriters. All this is in the new TV project "This is a movie!" on the “YASNAe TV” channel.

In the first issue of the program, its host Zhenya Zadora spoke with the General director of the National Film Studio “Belarusfilm”, Vladimir Karachevsky. In particular, they talked about preparations for the XXVII Minsk International Film Festival “Listapad”.

Vladimir Karachevsky noted that more than 50 countries have submitted applications for participation in the film festival:

- Now about 270 paintings have been submitted to the selection committee. The program of the “Listapad” itself, which will be held from November 20 to 26, will be quite extensive. These are four competitive sections: feature films, documentaries, "Cinema of the Young" and cinema for family viewing - the “Listapadzik” festival. Of course, the audience is also waiting for a large non-competitive program. These are the "Cinema of Friends", as well as events dedicated to the memory of the famous Belarusian director Viktor Turov and the 50th anniversary of Belarusian animation. In addition, there will be round tables, an industrial platform, a board of directors of film studios, creative meetings and master classes.

The Director General of the National Film Studio also drew attention to the fact that Belarusfilm is one of the few producers left from the Soviet Union, which has its own extensive library of pictures.

- These are 650 feature films, 300 animated and about 2000 documentaries. And it's great when they are seen not only by viewers who go to cinemas or sit in front of the TV. That's why we try to upload all these films to our YouTube channel. Now almost 500 thousand people have subscribed to it. And we strive to ensure that the number of these subscribers only grows.

By the way, among the most viewed tapes of recent times are the action movie "Footprints on the Water" (17 million views) and the military drama "In August of the 44th ..." (15 million views).
