Sales for the films of the Listapad Film Festival begin tomorrow

Tickets for the XXVII Minsk International Film Festival “Listapad", which will be held in the capital and regions from November 20 to 26, will go on sale on Friday, November 12. Ticket prices start from 4 rubles and depend on the cinema and the time of the session.
This year, almost 100 paintings will be presented at “Listapad”. In Minsk, screenings will take place in five cinemas in compliance with social distance and all necessary security measures. Tickets will be available both at the cinema box offices and on the official website of the UP “”.
Recall that the “Central” Cinema will be the main platform for showing pictures from the program of the main feature film competition. The first competitive screenings of this program will begin on Tuesday, November 23. On this day, the jury and the audience will see three pictures from the main competition at once: "Seven Little Coincidences” by Peter Gotar, ”Fire" by Aizhan Kassymbek (the film will be presented by the film crew) and ”River" by Hassan Salab. Recent competitive screenings (films “Ilhak" by Zhakhongir Akhmedov, "Uni” by Camila Andini and "Day of the Dead” by Viktor Ryzhakov) will be held in the great hall of “the Pioneer” cinema on November 25.
A little earlier, on Sunday (November 21), screenings of films of the out-of-competition program and the documentary film competition will begin in the “Central”. Please, turn your attention: After the documentary "The Other I Will Be No More" by Director Anton Nikolaev the People’s Artist of Russia Nikolai Burlyev will take place.
According to tradition, “the Pioneer” cinema will become the main venue of Listapadzik. On November 20, at 12:00, the film festival for children and youth audience will open the first Belarusian full-length animated musical "Stars of the Seventh Heaven" directed by Elena Turova. Then, from 14:00, screenings of competitive films will begin – this year there are thirteen of them. The closing ceremony of “Listapadzika" with summing up will take place on Tuesday, November 23, at 12:00.
Some screenings of the main competition of documentary and feature films, as well as paintings from the non-competitive program dedicated to the 50th anniversary of Belarusian animation will be held there in the Pioneer. In particular, on November 21, young viewers and their parents will be able to watch the wonderful cartoons "The Legend of Lady Godiva”, "Belarusian sayings”, "Grandfather”, "Spoon for a soldier”, "The Legend of the psaltery”, “The Toy” and "The Good-natured Wolf"”.
The opening and closing ceremonies of the film festival will take place in “Moscow”, as well as one night screening of the non–competitive program - the film “Mad Cinema for Adults” directed by Radu Jude. The beginning is on November 24 at 23:00.
The pictures of the youth cinema program can be seen at “the Belarus” cinema, which will become the main platform for this program. On November 21, at 14:00, it will be opened by a 46-minute tape "Door to Door" directed by Rohit Khaitan from India. The screenings of the “Cinema of the Young" program will end on Thursday, November 25.
“The Cinema House”, in turn, will present an out-of-competition program of the festival, as well as several films from the main feature film competition. These are paintings “Down the Street” by Chinese director Na Jazio, ”My Night" by Antoinette Bulat, as well as "Hero" by Asghar Farhadi. All of these screenings will take place on Sunday, November 23.
