On 20 November 2023, a ceremony was held at which Yuri Aleksei, general director of Belarusfilm, and Lei Han, film and television actor and producer, documented the cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the People's Republic of China in the field of cinema.

The ceremony was attended by Minister of Culture of Belarus Anatoly Markevich and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Belarus Xie Xiaoyong. Anatoly Markevich congratulated his colleagues on the signing of the agreement and noted that the film will be about the friendship of peoples, reflecting the productive cooperation between Belarus and China. Xie Xiaoyun stressed that today was a historic event, and the decision to create a joint film is a project that will expand cooperation in culture and cinema between the countries.
