The anniversary XXX film festival "Listapad" is ready to conquer the hearts of the audience
Yuri Nikulin, Nadezhda Rumyantseva, Andrei Mironov. These and many other actors were loved by the Soviet audience. But cinema does not stand still: new actors, directors and scriptwriters appear. And the variety of films makes your head spin. The opening ceremony of the XXX international film festival "Listapad" was held today in the Palace of the Republic. We talked with the invited guests of the film festival, as well as with cinema lovers and found out what they expect from the anniversary festival.
The wife of the late Voitovich Evgeny Konstantinovich, a Belarusian diplomat, Voitovich Tamara Pavlovna gave a comment: "My husband was the director of the film studio "Belarusfilm" and headed it from 1973 to 1981. I remember how he first came to the film studio. Then there was nothing to show and he said: "Not a single ruble will go from the film studio to film production. We will provide all services ourselves." Two years later, the film studio won the all-Union competition six times." We talked to the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, Anatoly Vyacheslavovich Markevich, and learned his opinion about this year's film festival: "Judging by the number of applications and participating countries, this festival exceeded all expectations. 124 countries took part in it, and this is the first time in the entire thirty-year history of the film festival. Artists and actors are very interested in joint projects. This week will be filled with a variety of events, which provides grounds for discussion not only among film industry masters, but also among ordinary students who are not indifferent to cinema. We tried to ensure that our foreign colleagues and friends got to know Belarus, saw our beautiful country. We have already outlined a couple of projects for ourselves that we definitely want to implement. We exchange experiences with colleagues from other countries: there is always something to discuss and share. The most important thing is that Belarusfilm attracts our young specialists who are interested in their future profession." Against the backdrop of numerous platforms, venues and social networks, cinema still retains its popularity. However, changes are inevitable and over time we can capture new formats of films that will impress the modern viewer more than once.
